The $3 million dream machine?
This is a custom-built Ferrari P 4/5 created for car collector James Glickenhaus. Valued at over US$3 million, the vehicle was inspired by the P4 racer of the 1960s. Essentially, the P4/5 is a rebodied Ferrari Enzo, with a Pininfarina-designed and engineered exterior.
You can see some more pics here, including production shots.
The owner indulges himself as well, leaving comments for all the drooling admirers.
He explains that \"The car was designed by Pininfarina who started with my desire to have something that looked like one of my cars, 1967 Ferrari P 3/4 0846, built on Ferrari's most modern supercar chassis and evolved into a homage to the P 3/4,512s, 312p, and 333sp.\"
Too much car speak for me, but it probably means a lot to all those revheads out there.

Ye it is! Have no idea how it got up, but I’ve filed a bug report. Someone may have voted it up - will let you know, either way.

What kind of pics are you after? The tone of the pics vary all the time.

I don’t think there’s any “tone” for the pics really. But I was hoping that some of the great shots that get put in the PIP group would filter through to the Norg. We have such an awesome PIP community here in Perth it would be great if they would share some their work outside of Flickr. It doesn’t always have to be a car crash or an event. Sometimes a picture is worth something just in itself.
