Local boy, turned international film star, Heath Ledger is rumoured to be playing The Joker in the next Batman movie. I heard this rumour last week, but it seems to be really picking up steam. It seems to have hit the main stream press, but most online sources are saying he hasn't signed up yet (here and here).
Any mates in WA wanna give him a buzz and tell him he'd be mad to turn it down! After Batman Begins, this has gotta be a cool movie.
