Container city
CONVERTING a Bunbury CBD carpark into a refurbished sea container city for low cost housing is one option being considered to ease the city\'s acute housing shortage. The sea container option, already used for student villages in Europe, feature a series of refurbished and airconditioned containers stacked to create apartments with stairwells and balconies.

It’s a port city so I guess it kinda goes with the theme!

Personally, I think it’s not good enough.
It looks like they are building a ghetto! Aren’t these the sort of housing developments that councils in Perth have been trying to “reinvent” the last few years.
If something like this becomes acceptable governments won’t be inclined to do better.
