Lily Allen: The girls next door with a kick
The latest MySpace Lily Allen has hit the shores of Australia from the UK to promote her debut album “Alright, Still.”
And in what has become the 21-year-olds trademark style she’s been feeding local media with her brassy quips. It would be hard to put it quite like she does, so as she told one local news reporter:
"Everything that comes out of my mouth isn't thought about, it gets me into loads of trouble and I think that is one of the things people quite like about me," she said.
Allen has let her opinions be known on the likes of Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Bob Geldof.
It’s her unpolished, take-me-as-I-am attitude as well her catchy-tunes that has endeared her to so many - she is a big hit with the MySpace crowd where she laments about normal girl things like the fact that she is not as skinny as Kate Moss.

I like Lily Allen, she reminds me a female version of Mike Skinner, but I can also see myself getting sick of her in about 5 minutes after her tracks get played so many times on the radio that anything remotely unique gets turned to mundane… Still, thats 4 minutes and 50 seconds longer than most of the acts coming out these days…
