Israel has agreed to Ceasefire according to US reports

After a week on draamatic news I hope this is correct. According to reports Israel has agreed to a ceasefire and has informed the US President of his decision.

Unfortunately the resolution appears to have been ignored with Israel launching a massive ground offensive and airstrikes in Southern Lebanon. Relief officials also claim they are being denied access to injured civilians. Olmert said he would wait for the Israeli cabinet to approve the resolution on Sunday, but would continue its offensive until then. Obviously somethings been lost in the translation of “immediate ceasefire” - here’s hoping it happens.
