Man and penguin cycle across Nullabor

A 50-year-old man is cycling across the Nullarbor and beyond with a giant inflatable penguin called Percy to raise money for children's cancer research. Deputy prime minister Mark Vaile said Patrick Thompson had left Margaret River in Western Australia today on an estimated 80-day trek to Taree on the NSW mid-north coast.
