Consternation at APT as Alinta ups stake

ALINTA has doubled its stake in Australian Pipeline Trust to 8.14 percent, picking up a further 4 per cent of the pipeline operator\'s units on the market in a move that infuriated the target. Alinta picked up shares at up to $5 apiece yesterday, adding to a 4 per cent stake bought on Wednesday night for $56 million.
