Where Are All The Single Men?

As I was flipping through the Sensis form guide book the other week, I was shocked to read that, according to their statistics, in 2001 there were 350,000 more single women in Perth than there were single men. I was shocked but not surprised. As a 30 something singleton myself this has been a longstanding conversation that all us girls are having. Check out Lisa Pendrill's blog, which is stingingly accurate and don't forget to tell us girls where the best place to meet a decent bloke is.

I hear you and all my other 30 plus single girlfriends. I can tell you where the boys are…. apparently they are all in the country. The problem is the exact opposite there, lots of eligible men but no gals. So girls if you fancy a nice boy with not much future (due to the current rural crisis) maybe you could head bush!

Not much future? Even if farmers are forced to bug out of the industry, they’ve got a few million in assets they wouldn’t need any more.

Not only is it that there are so many available lasses within the confines of Perth, but, quite a large percentage from my own experiences are proving to be well heeled and professional.
My guess would be that should you fall into that category, it maybe time to start finding yourself invenues catering for the same of the opposite sex? Rhetoric’s more than a posed question I fear however. But they are there. Incidently, who deems that you have to remain in Perth for ever.
Yes, rural area’s are abounding with a veritible plethora of men, could they be enticed to Perth?
