Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Release Candiate 1 Launched
One of the more important things in the IT&T industry is staying on top of the evolution - yes i know, some will say that is essentially impossible, but what else can we do but try - hence the reason that Blogs has become as powerful a tool as they are.
Sandi Hardmeier, MVP Internet Explorer - one of only 8 such awardees here in Perth just announced the release on her blog.
Not only is Sandi the very first MVP that was nominated in Perth, but also the first female to be awarded in Australia.
I managed to get hold of the release, litterally as the news hit the web waves..bare minutes after the announcement.

Congratulations to Sandi. It’s great to see a woman taking a lead in the IT industry as well as getting recognition.
I’ll keep my eye out for more of your scoops Brian!

Sandi has been awarded yearly for quite a number of years so her efforts hasn’t been starting only recently - she has continued to provide support and knowledge sharing for IT&T professionals - which is shown by Microsoft re-awarding her each year.
But, definitely keep an eye out for more “scoops” because there are more to come.

Thanks guys
I’m considering posting semi-regular spyware/malware and Internet Explorer focused articles on perthnorg similar to the stuff on my current blog:

Interested?

Most certainly Sandi..i’d almost rate it as a community service..So many of us do not know how to arm ourselves against malicious content and much less know how to get rid of it once they’re infected.
