Denmark arrests nine terror suspects

DANISH authorities have arrested nine people suspected of planning terror acts, the Danish Security Intelligence Service (PET) said today. The nine were arrested in Denmark's third largest city, Odense, during the night under Danish anti-terrorism laws introduced after the September 11 attacks in the United States.

Being danish myself, i’m rather shocked that terrorism has reached the shores of Denmark.
i left Denmark to move to Perth in 1999 but at heart i am still danish and am saddened that the generous hospitality of the danes has now been taken for granted.
not withstanding the earlier years incident with the comics, depicturing (allegedly that is) Muhammed with added comments in “cartoon-like speech bubbles” about current national and international issues, Denmark has never done anything to attact this malicious attention of terrorists.
Most people around the world do not know how “wealthy” refugees and immigrants become when entering Denmark - but on average you would receive some $30.000 a year on wellfare as a minimum and many immigrants has taken the opportunity for a better lifestyle to cross all of Europe to get to Denmark..and this is the repayment?
