Bourse caution ahead of US inflation data

THE Australian equity market is expected to receive a mild kick-along from last week's strong finish on Wall Street, as a fall in oil prices helped reverse losses made earlier in the week. The Dow Jones industrial average lifted 60.67 points to 11,392.11 on Friday, while the more broadly based Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 4.9 points to 1298.92.
