Thousands of investors in plantation forests will have their generous tax deductions threatened under restrictions to be considered by federal cabinet. The crackdown, proposed by Assistant Treasurer Peter Dutton, is designed to tackle managed investment schemes that have pumped up to $1 billion into the forestry sector, News Limited reported.
