Let's get a spring back in our step
AN Englishman once tried to explain the psyche of his compatriots to me by saying: “Life is often conducted on the assumption that one should never risk ruining a good party by enjoying it.” I fear, of late, many Australians could also be accused of sharing such a sad outlook. And so, I would just like to say. No, I would actually like to yell: “SNAP OUT OF IT.’’ Enough of this doom and gloom and everyone walking around as though a terror strike has already happened here.
