Presentation and swearing mar Grand Final Celebrations
Angry talk-back callers have flooded the ABC Sports Show 'Grandstand' complaining about the actions of several West Coast players following their thrilling Grand Final win yesterday.
Several players failed to shake hands with the children handing them their Premiership medallion. Others, most noticeably Daniel Chick, did not allow the children to place the medal around their neck. The children appeared upset and confused over the players actions. Ben Cousins was called onto the podium in a symbolic gesture to hold the Premiership Cup aloft with Chris Judd which has also upset viewers.
Others callers have also complained about the language used by Quentin Lynch and Dean Cox. Both players dropped the "F" word in post match interviews broadcast on Channel Ten which went live all around the world.
