Australian businesses felt less confident in the third quarter as higher interest rates and rising costs took a toll, a survey reported on Tuesday. The National Australia Bank said its business confidence index fell a further 6 points to stand at 2 points in the third quarter, having already fallen by 5 points in the second quarter.
