Put a screwcap on it, cork snobs
Cork is but a pesky plug compared to synthetic seals, says Tony Lee. THE word rhymes with banker. I've lost count of the number of times I've heard it around the barbecue, when I've got a mystery bag and sauce in one hand and my third glass of red in the other.

Having become a bit partial to the odd glass of wine in the evenings I’m for screwtops all the way. It beats trying to jam that cork - synthetic or natural - back into the bottle.

Interesting debate. Use screwcaps that have metal with a plastic (horror of horrors) lining or “natual” cork, for which we need to cut down so may trees that there is now a cork shortage.
