Celebrations proved premature for the owners of Permaiscuous who was edged out in the Thousand Guineas. THE bubbling, screaming, smiling, squealing, jumping, hugging mass in the mounting yard for the Thousand Guineas was left in the dark for more than a minute, perhaps two, after the rest of the crowd of 8427 at Caulfield knew that hot favourite Miss Finland had won the classic race.
