Stop motion music vid made from 16000 photos by Perth muso
Yunyu\'s music video for Lenore\'s Song. http://www.yunyu.com.au
Over 16,000 digital photographs were taken in the making of this stop animation music video. The video was shot entirely on a Canon EOS 5D digital stills camera and independently funded and produced. The result is an intriguing and strange fairy tale where nothing is what it seems.
The music video recently was a Sunscreen Grand Finalist and won a Gold Award by the Australian Cinematography Society.
Yunyu performs this evening on Thurs 5 April at Mojo's Bar Freo, supported by Miso (VIC) and guests to launch her album, Spiked Soul. Visit her website for more info:

Brilliant video. Would love to know how they did all this (hopefully some software to automatically stitch the pics together in the editor). Saw this a few months ago. I thought she was from Sydney, not Perth??

Perth, Sydney, Singapore… Think she’s from all over the place. Such is the life of a multicultural artist.
She did start her music career and won Triple J’s Unearthed in Perth here though.
From what I gather, over 16,000 digital photos were shot and then stitched together using Final Cut Pro. FCP however wasn’t made for this sort of work and there was a lot of trial and error in the process.
She has a pretty good writeup on how the clip was made here.
