Farmer pleads guilt and apologises

Talented Fremantle Football player Jeff Farmer has pleaded guilty to an assault charge today. He has publicly apologised to the Fremantle Football Club and the community for his actions. Farmer entered a Northbridge Nightclub through a back entrance after being refused entry at the main door. On being discovered inside by a security guard, he punched the bouncer in the face.
Farmer has been fined $3000. This follows the quick sanction imposed by the Fremantle Football Club of six weeks playing suspension.
