Kerr receives $2000 fine for assault

Daniel Kerr's week has gone from bad to worse. Firstly he was cleaned up by Josh Carr at yesterday's spiteful Western Derby, and today a Fremantle Magistrate found him guilty of assault and fined him $2000. Kerr was found not guilty of the first charge, but was found guilty of assaulting someone at a party in the southern suburb of Attadale on January 13.
This follows the incident in 2002 at a popular Perth nightclub where Kerr assaulted then West Coast Captain Ben Cousins. Ben Cousins was also soundly beaten by Ross Glendinning Medalist Josh Carr.
