Adelaide Crows suspend players

Radio station SEN has just broke the news that the Adelaide Crows have suspended three of their players for breaking curfew. The curfew was implemented as they prepare for the finals. Experienced player Ben Hudson, and youngesters Darren Pfeiffer and Bernie Vince have all received a one-week suspension and will not be available to play in the must win game against Geelong.

There had been speculation that Crows captain Mark Ricciuto would announce his retirement but that was quickly dispelled as coach Neil Craig and Football Manager John Reid announced that the three players had let down their teamates. Craig pointed out that the club treated its senior and junior players with the same standards. Nathan Bock, Ken McGregor and Ben Rutten are also unlikely to play also due to injuries.
