Mark Harvey kicks of war of words

Mark Harvey has kicked off the war of words with his former coach Kevin Sheedy at his press conference today. He has jokingly suggested that the outgoing Bomber coach has been offered roles in "Kath and Kim" and also as the manager of the Partridge Family.

Harvey's comments regarding Dean Solomon were not as good natured. Following the Western Derby, in which Fremantle stamped their new found agression on the Eagles, Harvey declared that Solomon was in the Dockers best three players for that game. Dean was involved in a number of legal but bone crushing tackles on various Eagle's players. Harvey commented that the Essendon Bombers did not want Solomon at the end of season 2006, so Dean has something to prove to his old club.
