AFL Players to continue ban on Channel Seven over weekend

AFL Players Association Officer Brendan Gale has issued a statement declaring that AFL players are being encouraged to continue the ban on Channel Seven over the weekend.
All clubs, except West Coast and Essendon, have refused to answer questions from Channel Seven after the Network has failed to issue an apology for broadcasting medical details on alleged drug use at a Melbourne based club. Channel Seven is continuing court action to allow them to broadcast the details in full.
Gale has stated that he has encouraged each player to consider their own position and support the players association in this action.
West Coast and Essendon are both financially supported by Channel Seven.
