Cousins found alive and well...sort of

The Australian Newspaper has taken a dent in its reputation with reports surfacing today that their front page story on Ben Cousins was at best premmature, and at worst plain wrong.

Reporters from various media outlets gathered at a park in Booragoon, not far from the Cousins home, where Bryan Cousins read from a prepared statement.

"As a parent, I am disappointed that it is necessary for me to make a statement today about Ben's welfare due to the ongoing fabricated stories and blatant untruths that have appeared in the media today,"  Bryan said.  "In fact I have spoken to him last night". On 6pr radio, Bryan Cousins suggested than Ben was in fact in the first stage of his rehabilitation and would be attending the Malibu facility he attended a few months ago shortly.
