Friday train services to be disrupted

Train services on Friday (November 30) will be disrupted when rail-car drivers attend an authorised stopwork meeting held by ARTBIU (Australian Rail, Tram and Bus Industry Union).

Train services on all lines will be affected from about 10am until 2.30pm, allowing time for the drivers to travel to and from the meeting.

During this period rail replacement bus services will run up and down each line.

The meeting has been called to discuss the progress of negotiations with the Public Transport Authority about changes to rostering arrangements and a proposed schedule for enterprise bargaining.
