Carlton capitulate to Tigers

Proof that one man does not make a team was on display tonight when new captain Chris Judd failed to influence the result of AFL season opener.

Carlton was recently being accused by former assistant coach Tony Libratore of 'tanking' the last four games of the 2007 season in order to obtain a priority draft selection .  Tonight Carlton opened the 2008 season in the same manner that it completed the 2007 season, with another loss.

The Tigers won by 30 points and demonstrated superior fitness by running over the top of the Blues in the final term and by keeping Chris Judd goalless.

Judd was pretty good in the first half, and by his own admission will not be up and running for about 6 weeks….maybe by round 7? :)
