'Guantanamo man' in Iraq bombing

The US military said a former Kuwaiti detainee at Guantanamo Bay carried out a recent suicide bombing in northern Iraq (BBC new story). Was it because:
a: He was an evil terrorist who slipped through the net?
b: His interrogators convinced him he was an evil terrorist?
c: He was just pissed off with US Military for being locked up for so long and his treatment?
