Anyone know of any trickle down effects being felt by this? I know we have all been asked to consider gas shortage, but beyond that do you think this has the potential to slow down the economy in WA?

I work as an engineer, and we are hearing of our mining clients having to drastically ramp down production because there is not enough gas in the pipelines to fuel their stations/kilns/etc… and diesel fuel is too expensive to run generators with.
Since it will take months before the gas will start to come back, we will definitely feel a dip in the economy from re-startup costs. Some companies are already laying off workers too, hopefully only temporarily, but that will also affect the economy when there is less money being distributed.
