New campaign shows family comes first
Want to know more about the newest epidemic, mumnesia? Having trouble taming your toddler? Interested in tapping into hints and tips from a network of local cyber mums?
Fear not, Westfield understands the importance of being a mum, and following research has concluded mums can be a source of endless parenting information and useful tips for creative ideas in establishing and maintaining a happy environment for children. As part of a new approach to help mums out, Westfield have just launched We Are Family – a campaign aimed at providing mums with informative and enriching material.
The campaign has three parts: a website for mums written by mums; a local guide for mums with lots of helpful tips and advice; and a series of local ‘expert’ events at WA Westfield centres on a range of topics for mums.
The website, www.westfield.com/wearefamily, offers an online portal with helpful tips by mums, along with expert advice from leaders in practical parenting. The online community brings local mothers together to share their experiences and thoughts.
The local We Are Family guides cover ‘Happy parents’, ‘Eating well’, ‘Happy kids’ and ‘Staying active’ and are now available at all Westfield shopping centres. The guides also list the ‘expert’ events happening at
Westfield.
The We Are Family ‘expert’ events will be held at all WA Westfield shopping centres from Wednesday 18 June to Wednesday 6 August with local experts speaking on the subjects of The First 12 Months, Toddler Tantrums and Better Buddies.
The We Are Family activities give mums the opportunity to meet other mums, share experiences and knowledge, and offer local mums a supportive environment in which to voice their concerns about mothering, making their mother-child time as enjoyable as possible.
