MICRODIA, a global leader in flash memory technologies and products, has chosen Perth-based technological products distributor, Neltronics, as its authorised distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

To sweeten the deal, MICRODIA chose to launch the world's first 64 GB compact flash card at the PMA Show in Brisbane — the Microdia XTRA ELITE CF card has a 45 MBS data transfer rate and can store up to 19,000 photos.

Microdia founder and CEO, Louis Leung, said that it specifically chose the PMA expo in Australia to launch the new card as a demonstration of the company’s commitment to the local market as well as a showcase of its credentials. “We have only been in Australia for a matter of weeks, and decided the best way to demonstrate our capabilities and intent to offer the world’s best flash memory products here was to launch this product at Australia’s leading professional photography trade show, PMA.”Although a new brand to the Australian market, Leung pointed out that his company has an established track record in memory technology.

“As a new brand to Australia, but as the world’s second largest flash memory company — in terms of production capacity — with a 17 year history, globally launching the 64GB CF card in Australia at PMA will give us tremendous early momentum in this market.”

Neltronics Sales Director Lee Jefferies said he was looking forward to bringing the world’s best brand of flash memory products to the Australian and

New Zealand public.

“MICRODIA’s products are the highest quality, capacity, fastest and most reliable devices in their field, and come with a lifetime guarantee – we think that’s a great value proposition to resellers who want to provide their customers with the best technology available,” Mr Jefferies said. “MICRODIA’s exceptional products combined with the company’s aggressive growth strategy are perfectly matched with Neltronics' approach to business.”

The XTRA flash memory cards family also offers data storage longevity and protection against data corruption, and are backed by a lifetime warranty. MICRODIA’s flash memory data storage solutions are suitable for professional photographers' DSLR cameras, mobile phones, GPS devices, PCs and multimedia gadgets.
