Abatement opportunities overlooked
While national focus centred on the Federal government's emissions trading scheme Green Paper this week, a Western Australian university stepped up calls for abatement. On the day of the ETS launch, Murdoch announced it had signed a deal to take 15% GreenPower from Synergy - making it the largest organisation in WA and the first university in Australia to commit to such a high level of accredited renewable energy.
