Sorry no internet today
Ok , I have a week or so until I move. It has recently dawned on me that when I move to Perth I will be staying somewhere with no Broadband Internet. I will be staying there for 6 weeks or so until I finally go to India for 3 months.
How will I manage to "come off" the Internet. It is such a part of my daily life that I feel that I will genuinely be suffering from with drawls without regular access. I will not be able to Twit, Blog download content from the Internet, read the news electronically when ever I want. To put it plainly I will be left isolated.

Hmm… this isn’t really your blogspace.

Clearly, however I think its an interesting spin on how someone is feeling in the run up to being without something. Each to their own opinion I guess

Given there have been quite a few posts which have been voted down the past couple of weeks (and I don’t specifically mean you, Durx, although clearly this post has been), I wonder if it might be important for the Norg to have some sort of documented discussion about what we - the entire current base of users - think is and isn’t Norgworthy? Not that it would stop people posting things, but rather to serve as a mechanism to help people judge what they post and perhaps to understand why some things are voted down.
Bronwen - do you think this is the sort of thing that could be discussed in the comments of an official norgdom post?

I think that might be a good idea, I do realise I am a new user to the site, however I really want to contribute and bring something to the table. I feel getting something voted down becuase it is linked to a personal blog is a bit rude. The content of the story is original and related to technology, in my opinion it has just as much right to be there as something linked from the age for example.
Thanks for your comments Tama I am sure the rules will be addressed accordingly

OK - let’s nut this out - I’ve written a post where we can attempt to discuss what is “norgworthy“.
