Spore DRM only gets 1-star on Amazon!

As The Register reports, the digital rights management (DRM) in EA's long-anticipated Spore has seen a hailstorm of protests, most visible in the one-star rating from more than 2000 reviews on Amazon.com. Given the bad publicity their DRM has caused, the initial reponse seems lacklustre to say the least!
The real question, though, is will this stop you buying Spore? (I have to admit, it hasn't stopped me - I'm expecting it in the mail any day now!)
