Apparently, we’re seeing Venus, Jupiter and a thin three-day-old crescent moon. What the photo doesn’t show, though, is how amazingly bright all three appear against the stars in the sky.

Revised Bailout Bill Awaits Senate Vote

The Senate prepared to deliver a strong show of support Wednesday evening for the $700 billion economic bailout plan and House officials said that provisions being added to the measure should lead to its approval by Friday.
