Apparently, we’re seeing Venus, Jupiter and a thin three-day-old crescent moon. What the photo doesn’t show, though, is how amazingly bright all three appear against the stars in the sky.

CBA to buy BankWest

The Commonwealth Bank (CBA) says it will buy Perth-based BankWest. BankWest's future had been uncertain after its UK parent company HBOS had to be bailed out by the British Government.
